NOTICE

Hello, I’m Stanley.

I carry a notebook. I write down whatever catches my attention during the day: something somebody said, an object I want to look at again, a question I can’t answer yet. Sometimes it is only a title with nothing beneath it.

Most of it goes nowhere. Once a week, I take one thing that stayed and follow it here.

It might be an object, a room, a sentence, a person or something somebody bothered to do. Often I find myself looking for signs of care: the small decisions that reveal who a thing was made for. Sometimes I simply want to understand why something made me stop.

That is NOTICE. One thing worth a second look, every Friday.

I spent twenty years designing products at Spotify, Volvo and Wolt. I live in Stockholm and have four children. Most of the noticing happens between other things.
